SIGNINGS
Melissa Bourbon, Anne B. Harrison, Annie Seaton, Bronwen Evans and Kate Evangelista will sign copies of their books at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Barnes & Noble, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd.
Cork Proctor and Carolyn Hamilton will sign "My Mind is An Open Mouth" at 2 p.m. Aug. 5 at Barnes & Noble, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd.
EVENTS
Several dancers from the film "West Side Story," who contributed to the book "Our Story: Jets and Sharks Then and Now," will have a meet-and-greet at 1 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd.
Christene Houston will have a book launch party for her book "A Heart So Broken" at 6 p.m. Saturday at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
Lisa Jackson will celebrate the launch of her new book "You Don't Want to Know" with a signing at 6 p.m. Aug. 6 at Barnes & Noble, 8915 W. Charleston Blvd. Fans voted on Facebook to decide where Jackson would go to celebrate the launch and Las Vegas won. Also at the event, author Nancy Bush will sign her book "Nowhere to Run" (242-1987).
The Amazing Reads Book Club meets at 5:30 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month at West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd.
