EVENTS

Author and entertainer Suzanne Somers will present the lecture "Breakthrough ... Live to 100 with Great Health and Great Sex" at 4 p.m. today in the Theater at the Las Vegas Hilton, 3000 Paradise Road. Tickets are $29.95-$39.95 (732-5755).

Local authors Tena Thompson, Morgan St. James, Linda O'Connor and Darlien Breeze will discuss their contributions to the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" book series at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Jewel Box Theater at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

The Amazing Reads Book Club meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month at West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd.

The SNAFFU Science Fiction Book Club meets at 2 p.m. the fourth Sunday of the month at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.
