SIGNINGS

EVENTS

"Scout, Atticus and Boo: 'To Kill a Mockingbird's' 50 Years of Influence on Readers and Writers," celebrating the 50th anniversary of Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird," will be presented Thursday at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. The event will begin with a screening of the film at 3 p.m., followed by a panel discussion at 7 p.m. with authors Vu Tran, P Moss, Tiffannie Bond and A.D. Hopkins. The presentation also will feature a sneak preview screening of Mary McDonagh Murphy's documentary "Scout, Atticus and Boo: A Celebration of Fifty Years of 'To Kill a Mockingbird.' "

Magician Tony Daniels will perform a water-themed show Monday at 4 p.m. at Paseo Verde Library, 280 S. Green Valley Parkway, and at 6:30 p.m. at Gibson Library, 100 W. Lake Mead Parkway.

Storyteller Jim Cogan will present "A Fluid World of Wonder: Stories to Whet the Imagination" Monday at 11 a.m. at Spring Valley Library, 4280 S. Jones Blvd., and 4 p.m. at Enterprise Library, 25 E. Shelbourne Ave.; Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Centennial Hills Library, 6711 N. Buffalo Drive, and 2 p.m. at West Charleston Library, 6301 W.
