SIGNINGS

Artist Dale Chihuly will sign copies of his books at 1 p.m. Friday at the Gallery at CityCenter, 3720 Las Vegas Blvd. South; and 1 p.m. Saturday next to the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at Bellagio, 3600 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

EVENTS

Tony Abou-Ganim, author of "The Modern Mixologist: Contemporary Classic Cocktails," will host a cocktail demonstration and have a book signing at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Mandarin Bar located on the 23rd floor of Mandarin Oriental, 3752 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Abou-Ganim and mixologist Charlotte Voisey will create a signature cocktail that will be offered with their compliments at the event.

Ayesha Glover, author of "Women Wonderfully Made: Understanding Your Self Worth and Purpose According to God," will give a motivational talk followed by a Q&A and book signing at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Green Valley Library, 2797 N. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson.

The multi-media program "The Mob Chronicles" will feature a discussion on Tony Spilotro and the Hole in the Wall Gang with a panel of experts at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Winchester Cultural Center Theater, 3130 S. McLeod Drive. Crime writer Dennis Griffin, former detectives and FBI agents, and Frank Cullotta, a lieutenant for mobster Spilotro, will participate in the discussion. Admission is $15.

Mornings with Mari Book Club meets at 10 a.m. the third Saturday of each month and the Best Book You've Never Read book group meets the second Sunday of the month at 7 p.m. at Barnes & Noble, 8915 W. Charleston Blvd.

The Amazing Reads Book Club meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month at West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd.

STORY TIMES

Story time with music and crafts is offered Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and the second Saturday of the month at Barnes & Noble, 567 N. Stephanie St., Henderson.

Story time in the Square is offered at 11 a.m. Wednesdays in Children's Park at Town Square Las Vegas, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Individual libraries within the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District offer a variety of story times and special events for children of all ages throughout the year. Most libraries require registration for their programs. Call the libraries for details.
