SIGNINGS

Ellen Hopkins will sign "Collateral" and Michelle Hodkin will sign "The Evolution of Mara Dyer" at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Barnes & Noble, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd.

EVENTS

Notre Dame law professor and author G. Robert Blakey will discuss the rise and fall of organized crime in America, as part of the Mob Museum's fall speaker series, at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Mob Museum, 300 Stewart Ave. A pre-event reception with hors d'oeuvres and a complimentary cocktail will be followed by the presentation and a Q&A session. Tickets are $30 for members; $35 for nonmembers (724-8641).

David Levithan, author of the young adult novel "Every Day," will discuss his novel at 7 p.m. Thursday at Barnes & Noble, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd.

"Human Trafficking in Las Vegas," a panel discussion of authors, including Wendy Mazaros and Christopher Baughman, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. A book sale and signing will follow the presentation (507-3458).

"Graphic Novels from the Inside," a multimedia presentation on graphic novels, featuring Gene Ambaum, author of "Unshelved," will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 18 at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. A book sale and signing will follow the presentation (507-3459).

Book Lovers' Bistro meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at Whitney Library, 5175 E. Tropicana Ave.

The Brown Bag Book Club meets at 11 a.m. the second Thursday of the month at the Laughlin Library, 2840 S. Needles Highway.

The Breakfast Book Club meets at 11 a.m. the third Friday of the month at Sunrise Library, 5400 Harris Ave.

The Spring Valley Book Discussion Group meets at 1 p.m. the third Sunday of each month at Spring Valley Library, 4280 S. Jones Blvd.

The Murder in the Library group meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave.
