Can’t Own Just One

Maybe it's some weird foraging strand of our DNA, or the same vestigial instinct that makes squirrels store up nuts when they probably could hang around a 7-Eleven and still dine sumptuously all winter.

Whatever the reason, we humans love to collect things. Jim Beam bottles, rare books, recordings of Yiddish accordion classics, baseball cards, bottle caps, bubble gum wrappers, you name it and someone, somewhere, has a bedroom stuffed to overflowing with 'em.
