Suits You: United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council will collect gently used suits or professional attire to be donated to local area shelters and nonprofits that assist women in need from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 6. This is a one day only event. Drive-through donations can be made in the United Way parking lot at 1660 E. Flamingo Road.

Alyssa Stein came to HalloweenMart in search of an Indiana Jones costume. After 15 minutes of hunting through the top seller of Halloween costumes in the country, the 18-year-old UNLV student’s shopping basket holds nothing but a single hot pink corset.
Students at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Henderson put their skills to work this Halloween. Taking inspiration from fashion designers such as Christian Dior, Chanel, Valentino, Versace, Christian Lacroix and Alexander McQueen, each student took an over-the-top design and turned it into a fashion-forward costume.
Patricia Field put stylists on the map. Prior to her turn on “Sex and the City,” were you ever able to name the wardrobe stylist for any other TV show? For that matter, were you able to name a stylist, period? We didn’t think so.
Shop for a Cause: C Level in Boca Park is celebrating its fourth anniversary with a portion of all shopping proceeds benefitting local charity Olive Crest through Sunday. Olive Crest works with abused, neglected and at-risk children and their families.

Haute Halloween: Fashion design students from the International Academy of Design and Technology Las Vegas (IADT) will unveil Halloween couture — just in time for the fall holiday — at Fashion Show mall. IADT student designers have created one-of-a-kind costumes inspired by fashion’s biggest names, including Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Dior, Christian Lacroix and Versace. The Halloween Couture Exhibit takes place from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Oct. 22 in the stagebox adjacent to the runway in the Great Hall. The Halloween Couture Runway Show takes place at 2 p.m. Oct. 24 on the runway.
