FEEL THE G-FORCES

The Big Shot at the Stratosphere gives riders the chance to experience weightlessness and pull 4 Gs at the same time.

The ride launches passengers at 45 mph, 160 feet into the air. That's in addition to being on the observation deck, 900 feet above the ground. It lasts for only one minute but it's a thrilling minute.

The attraction is open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays and until 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays at 2000 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Tower admission is $7 for locals and $10.95 for others; the ride costs $9.

Strip Tips is a weekly feature by Sonya Padgett that highlights attractions and activities on the Las Vegas Strip.
