Swedish women receive womb transplants

STOCKHOLM — Nine women in Sweden have successfully received transplanted wombs donated from relatives in an experimental procedure that has raised some ethical concerns. The women will soon try to become pregnant with their new wombs, the doctor in charge of the pioneering project has revealed.

Nevada insurance exchange breaks 10,000 in paid enrollments

The state insurance exchange on Tuesday reported gains in paid enrollments. As of Saturday, 10,547 Nevadans had signed up for and paid premiums on new coverage through the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange. That was up from 6,219 paid enrollments as of Dec. 23.
