HOLIDAY BAZAARS

HOLIDAY BAZAARS

Although it may not seem that way now, soon temperatures will cool and folks will be looking for fall fun. And what could be more fun for those who love to shop than the annual onslaught of holiday bazaars?

The Review-Journal again will offer a list of local bazaars that benefit nonprofit organizations and charities in Southern Nevada.

Many of the bazaars start their theming early, with Halloween. One-of-a-kind gifts and decorations are the norm as the holiday season progresses.

Groups should submit their information in writing by Sept. 18, for publication in October. They should include the name of the event, date, time and street address where items will be sold. A description of the types of items for sale should be included. The name of the nonprofit organization that will benefit from the bazaar is required.

The person sending the information should include his or her name and telephone number (not for publication) in case additional information is needed.

The information can be faxed to Holiday Bazaars at 383-4676 or e-mailed to mrhynes@reviewjournal.com (with Holiday Bazaars in the subject line). Regular mail should be addressed: Holiday Bazaars, Features Department, Las Vegas Review-Journal, P.O. Box 70, Las Vegas, NV 89125-0700.

Further information is available by calling Madelon Hynes, 383-0306.
