‘Holly and Carol’s Christmas Adventure’

It was Christmas Eve. Holly and Carol wanted to stay up all night so they could catch Santa Claus. After a long wait, they heard jingling bells above them on their roof, so they went downstairs to see Santa.

As they peeked at Santa, they decided that it would be fun if they could go to the North Pole. So, Holly and Carol hopped into Santa's pack while he was not looking. Santa, without knowing that they were in the pack, drove away.

Santa was very tired from delivering so many presents, so he decided to take a break while he was at the North Pole. Once they arrived at the North Pole, Santa went to the lounge to eat cookies and milk. Holly and Carol hopped out of the pack and went to Santa's workshop. When they opened the door to the workshop, they were amazed because they saw giant-sized toys. Next to these giant-sized toys was a machine that could shrink them.

Carol and Holly wanted to get a closer look, so they crept up close to the shrinking machine, and fell into it. To their surprise, they shrunk to the size of little toy dolls. Now, they did not know what to do. So Carol suggested to Holly that they should go explore the town to find a way to get back to their normal size, and that is what they did. They went to the Polar Express Train Station, the Town Square and many more places, but they had no luck in finding something that could help them. So, they decided to go back to the workshop.

When they returned to the workshop, they saw Santa loading up his pack again. Santa spotted Holly and Carol and, believing that they were toys, he loaded them into his pack. Santa then started delivering toys. At 2 a.m. he had delivered toys to every house except one. At this last house, he slid down the chimney, took Holly and Carol out of the pack and placed the two dolls under the Christmas tree. Then Santa left. Holly and Carol then noticed that the Christmas tree, the furniture, the stairs and everything else looked extremely familiar. After noticing that it was their house, they magically turned back to their normal size.

By this time, Holly and Carol were very tired, so they decided to go to bed after their long adventure. When they woke up that Christmas morning, they opened up all of their presents except one. This last gift was a letter. The letter stated: "I know when you are sleeping, I know when you are awake, so next Christmas Eve, please stay out of my sleigh."

So remember, boys and girls, Santa is always watching, and please stay out of his sleigh.
