Holmes, Ethel open local concert series

Singer/entertainer Clint Holmes, and the string band Ethel open the Las Vegas Chamber Concert series at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Clark County Library Theatre, 1401 E. Flamingo Ave.
Tickets for the evening's performance are $20 for adults and $10 for children.

Holmes previously had his own show at Harrah's Las Vegas.
He was selected as "Best Singer" (two years in a row), "Best All-Around Las Vegas Performer" and "Favorite Male Las Vegan" in the annual Las Vegas Review-Journal Best of Las Vegas feature.
Ethel is a group of four Juilliard-trained composers/musicians who perform self-composed works as well as works by John King, Phil Kline and others.
Ethel incorporates rock, blues, classical, jazz and other popular genres to create a sound that defies categorization.
