P. Scinta Designs receives remodeling award from Houzz

P. Scinta Designs of Las Vegas has recently received a Best of Remodeling award from Houzz, an online platform for residential remodeling and design.

The 8-year-old interior design firm was chosen by the more than 11 million monthly users who make up the Houzz community.

The Houzz Best of Remodeling award for 2013 is given in two categories: customer satisfaction and design. Customer satisfaction award winners are based on homeowner members who rated their experience working with remodeling professionals in 12 categories ranging from architects, and interior designers to contractors and other residential remodeling professionals. Design award winners' work was the most popular among the community of 11 million monthly users, also known as "Houzzers," who saved more than 124 million professional images of home interiors and exteriors to their personal ideabooks via the Houzz site, iPad/iPhone app and Android app.

"We are so pleased to be recognized by the Houzz.com users in a "Best of" category for the second year in a row," Peggy Scinta said. "Houzz.com is considered a premier partner for us in that they are a fundamental resource for interior design enthusiasts. Our firm appreciates the Houzz.com users opinion and embraces their feedback."

"Houzz provides homeowners with an in-depth, 360-degree view of building, remodeling and design professionals through images of their work, reviews and an opportunity to interact with them directly in the Houzz community," said Liza Hausman, vice president of community. "We're delighted to recognize P. Scinta Designs among our "Best of" professionals for exceptional customer service as judged by our community of homeowners and design enthusiasts who are actively remodeling and decorating their homes."

Seven years ago, after two visits to Las Vegas and a trip to the Las Vegas Design Center, a transition to a new beginning was quick and deliberate. Upon her arrival in Las Vegas, Scinta's team immediately went to work creating a dining/entertainment suite for a Las Vegas headliner.

In 2008, Scinta's firm designed the green room "Retreat" for the Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand. The firm's portfolio features high-end residential projects and specializes in designing luxury vacation homes for clients in the Las Vegas and Southwest areas. P. Scinta Design's signature look highlights bold color, geometric patterns paired with "new" traditional, classic pieces.
