Irish music, dance set for cultural center

Killian's Angels brings its blend of toe-tapping, hand-clapping music to the Reed Whipple Cultural Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North, at 3 p.m. Saturday.

The band will be joined by Sharon Lynn's Celtic Storm Dancers for a pre-St. Patrick's Day celebration of Irish songs and dances. The musical journey includes vocals, traditional step dances and music.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 on performance day and are available by phone at 229-6211 or at the cultural center's box office.

Founding member and lead vocalist Beth Mullaney has been a featured performer in Las Vegas for more than 12 years.

Vocalist and guitar/keyboard player Dolly Coulter also performs in "Hats."

Tuba and bass player Ginger Bruner is a writer, radio and music producer and engineer.

Violinist Lisa Viscuglia also performs in "Spamalot."

The group's newest member, pianist Vita Corimbi, performs in "Menopause the Musical" as well.

The band is joined by guest drummer Brett Barnes.

Sharon Lynn Rezendes is a registered master teacher of Irish Dance with the Commission of Irish Dance in Dublin, Ireland.
