John’s to bring pizza, carnival rides to Boulevard Mall

While diehard fans of Dave & Buster's await an opening date for the restaurant and game emporium to be located near Downtown Summerlin, here's some news for people on the other side of the valley who like some play along with their food.

John's Incredible Pizza Company, which has 10 locations, is scheduled to open another in late December at the Boulevard Mall on Maryland Parkway. If you're not familiar with John's, its twin claims to fame are a buffet on one side of the restaurant and full-size carnival rides, plus more than 100 games, on the other.

Yes, full-size carnival rides, including Twister and the Boogie Bump Bumper Cars (pictured), as well as the Air IncrediBear swinging-plane ride, plus Glow Golf and a mini bowling alley, with the mascot IndrediBear presiding over it all.

On the food side, the buffet will feature pizzas, pastas, fried chicken, soups, a 40-item salad bar, potato bar and desserts, with dining rooms themed Hall of Fame (sports), Cabin Fever (Tahoe-style) and Toon Time Theatre.

The company was founded in 1997 in Victorville, Calif. John's also is hiring; for information, go to www.johnspizza.com/vegas.
