Osteens bring ministry to Thomas & Mack Center

Joel and Victoria Osteen are bringing their ministry to Las Vegas Friday.

"An Evening with Joel and Victoria Osteen" will be presented at 7:30 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center, Tropicana Avenue and Swenson Street.

The Osteens are pastors of the nation's largest church, Lakewood Church of Houston.

Joel Osteen reaches a wide audience through weekly television broadcasts and podcasts, speaking tours and best-selling books, including "Your Best Life Now."

Victoria Osteen focuses her efforts on women and families. Next spring, she will release her first book, directed at children and teens.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $7 to $10 and are available at the arena or through Ticketmaster outlets.
