Red Rock Canyon: On Monday, a moderate, 3-4-mile hike in caves in the Fossil Ridge area. Bring a flashlight. On Tuesday, a moderately strenuous, 6-mile hike with some scrambling at Oak Creek Canyon. On Saturday, a moderate, 3-4-mile walk to Oak Creek. On Nov. 21, a moderate, 3-mile full moon hike at Red Spring. Bring a flashlight. Also Nov. 21, a strenuous, 3-mile hike with some scrambling at Red Cap Loop. Nov. 21, an easy, 1 ½-mile Leave No Trace-themed hike (515-5367).

Around the Bend Friends: This group of people over 50, interested in hiking and related social activities, plans a three-to four-hour moderate hike each Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. To learn more about the group and the meeting place for the hike, contact 228-0773, or the club's website: www.aroundthebendfriends.com.
