Red Rock Canyon: On Monday, a moderate, 3- to 4-mile hike at Lost Creek. On Tuesday, bring your dog for an easy 2½-mile hike to Pine Creek Homestead. Also on Tuesday, a strenuous 7-mile hike at Mountain Spring Park. On Friday, a moderate 3-mile hike with some scrambling at Grand Circle. On Saturday, a 6-mile strenuous hike with scrambling at Bridge Mountain. Also Saturday, a moderate 4-mile hike at Arnight Knoll Loop. On April 4, a moderate 3-mile hike at Fossil Ridge (515-5367).

Around the Bend Friends: This group of people over 50, interested in hiking and related social activities, plans a three- to four-hour moderate hike each Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. To learn more about the group and the meeting place for the hike, contact 228-0773, or the club's Web site: www. aroundthebendfriends.com

OTHER PROGRAMS

Red Rock Canyon: On Tuesday, a 20-minute program ongoing from 1-3 p.m. at the visitor center on fire. On Friday, a program for 5-10 year olds about recycling. On Saturday, a program for 4-10 year olds about the tracks of desert animals (515-5367).
