MUSIC

Hadassah of Southern Nevada will present "Sunday Afternoon with the Cantors" at 1 p.m. Sunday at Summerlin Library and Performing Arts Center, 1771 Inner Circle Drive. Tickets are $18 in advance, $20 at the door (501-0314).

Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd., will present "Alexander Viazovtsev and Friends," a family concert of classical music, at 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free, but a freewill offering will be accepted (341-7800).

Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 6220 N. Jones Blvd., will present a concert with musician and vocalist John Nilsen at 3 p.m. Sunday. The gospel quartet GQ also will be featured. A freewill offering will be accepted (645-4998).

Christ Episcopal Church, 2000 S. Maryland Parkway, will present an organ recital featuring Jane Dye at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $15 (735-7655).

EVENTS

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will host a Medicare Forum with Linda Hunt of the State Health Insurance Program, popularly known as SHIP, at 11 a.m. Sunday (732-2052).

St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 43 W. Pacific Ave., Henderson, is having a yard sale and bake sale 7 a.m.-1 p.m. March 5 to benefit Friends in the Desert, a food program for the homeless and disadvantaged (565-8033).

St. Viator Catholic Community will have St. Joseph's Table Celebration 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. March 13 at its Parish Center, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. The event will feature baked goods and a pasta dinner. The fee for the pasta dinner is $5. Proceeds will go to charities (358-9142).

MEETINGS

The Las Vegas Lay Dominicans will have their monthly meeting featuring prayer, formation activities and a Communion service, 10 a.m.-noon today at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Newman Community, 4765 Brussels St.

The Sathya Sai Baba Devotional Singing Group meets at 5 p.m. Sundays at 1128 Triumph Court (461-8655).
