The Women of St. Joseph Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church will have a '50s Rock & Roll Party featuring dancing and "Elvis of Vegas" at 5:30 p.m. today in the Catholic Center Hall, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Tickets are $10, which includes a meal. For reservations, call 889-0860.

"Clarence Darrow's Search for Justice," featuring Gary Anderson, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. today at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Las Vegas, 3316 E. Lake Mead Blvd. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. A reception will be at 6:30 p.m. featuring wine, hors d'oeuvres and preferred seating. The Las Vegas Diamond Way Buddhist Group offers guided meditation and dharma talks (260-4426).

Govinda's Center of Vedic India, 6380 S. Eastern Ave., offers Mantra Meditation, a presentation of Indian Vedic Wisdom, vegetarian snacks and literature at 6 p.m. Sundays (434-8332).

SINGLES GROUPS
