EVENTS

Vegas Valley Full Gospel Fellowship will have a College Career and Teen Event at 7 p.m. Friday at Giving Life Ministries, 416 Perlite St., Henderson (631-5027).

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Elizabeth Ann Seton will sponsor a fashion show and luncheon June 13 at St. Francis de Sales Parish, 1111 Michael Way. Tickets are $20. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and tickets will be sold at the door.

SERVICES

Summerlin Presbyterian Church has moved and is meeting in the Peace Way Center at 4590 S. Hualapai Way. Services are at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. Child care and children's classes are offered during church services. (243-0780).

MEETINGS

The Secular Franciscans of St. Margaret of Cortona fraternity meets at 12:30 p.m. the fourth Sunday of the month at Pace E Bene offices, 1420 W. Bartlett Ave. (453-2417).

CLASSES

Community Baptist Church, 245 E. Foster Ave., Henderson, will present a Christian Growth Workshop at 6 p.m. June 9-11. The courses offered include: "The Role of Men in the Church," "Spiritual Maturation" and "The Doctrine of Prayer." The workshop will conclude with services and preaching by the Rev. Eric Cole and the Rev. Abraham Franks on June 14 (565-0071).

Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, will present the vacation Bible school series "Paul and the Underground Church" at 6 p.m. June 8-12 for 3-year-olds to fifth-graders. The series will explore the life of early Christians in Rome (454-8484).

Community Baptist Church, 245 E. Foster Ave., Henderson, offers a free reading program for all ages 7-9 p.m. Wednesdays (565-0071).

SINGLES GROUPS

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church sponsors singles groups for professionals 25 to 45 years old and a singles group for people 45 and older (228-8311, Ext. 7333 or 7334).

Single Adults Learning Together, or SALT Ministries of CornerStone Christian Fellowship, meets at 6 p.m. Saturdays at 5825 W. Eldora Ave. (871-5050).
