SERVICES

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will have a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 6 p.m. Monday with special music (732-2052).

The Rock Christian Church will have a Christmas Eve service featuring an interactive, multimedia retelling of the Christmas story at 6 p.m. Monday at Steele Elementary School, 6995 Eldorado Lane. The event will feature live pageantry, drum line, carolers, apple cider and cookies (340-9202).

Summerlin Lutheran Church, 1911 Pueblo Vista Drive, will offer a children's Christmas service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, a candlelight service at 7 p.m. Monday and a Christmas service at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday (254-8431).

Trinity Lutheran Church will have a Holy Communion Candlelight Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m. Monday in Ballroom A at Aliante, 7300 N. Aliante Parkway, North Las Vegas. For more information, call 966-9797.

Rabbi Daniel Greyber of Beth El Synagogue in Durham, N.C., will do a reading from his book "Faith Unravels: A Rabbi's Struggle with Grief and God" at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Temple Beth Sholom, 10700 Havenwood Lane (804-1433).

Second Baptist Church, 500 Madison Ave., will host the 16th annual Christian Leadership Development Seminar at 6 p.m. daily Jan. 1-3. The theme is "Solidarity With the Saviour Through His Worship." Individual registration is $75 (648-6155).

MEETINGS

The Las Vegas Lay Dominicans will have an inquiry meeting at 9:30 a.m. today, followed by a general meeting from 10:30 a.m. to noon at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Newman Community, 4765 Brussels St.

The St. Margaret of Cortona Secular Franciscans Fraternity of Las Vegas meets at 12:30 p.m. the fourth Sunday of the month at Pace e Bene offices, 1420 W. Bartlett Ave. (453-2417).

SINGLES GROUPS

The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada, Temple Sinai and Congregation Ner Tamid offer a variety of programs for Jewish singles of all ages in Las Vegas and Henderson. For details, call the Jewish Community Center at 794-0090, Temple Sinai at 254-5110 or Congregation Ner Tamid at 733-6292.

60+ Singles Catholic Fellowship, open to men and women of the Catholic faith, meets the first Wednesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at the Village Pub, 10900 S. Eastern Ave., Henderson (796-1953).
