Here are a few things in news, sports, entertainment and popular culture that we've been talking about lately.

• A Massachusetts couple is suing Dunkin' Donuts, claiming that their son burned his neck with a dangerously hot hash brown. The real crime is ordering anything but a cruller and a coffee at Dunkin' Donuts.

• Fox News pundit Mike Huckabee says journalism is dying from "acute dishonesty aggravated by ... laziness and the loss of brain function." Pot, kettle, kettle, pot.

• Kate Gosselin of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" says she'll continue to "take the high road" in her feud with estranged husband Jon Gosselin. The high road dead-ended miles ago for these bozos.

• Tennis star Serena Williams is fined $10,000 for delivering a profanity-laced outburst to a lineswoman at the U.S. Open semifinals. Sports has gotten too weird when a rugby match seems genteel by comparison.

• A new interactive attraction, "CSI: The Experience," lets visitors solve crimes CSI-style. In less than 60 minutes, against a Who soundtrack, using technology that hasn't been invented yet, and looking fabulous all the while.
