Alzheimer's Association/Southern Nevada Region-Desert Southwest Chapter: Volunteers needed to assist with health fairs and art projects for the Memories in the Making program.

Clark County Parks and Recreation: Park ambassadors needed to help visitors and assist with promotion of special events at Desert Breeze Park, Sunset Park and the Silver Bowl Sports Complex.

Court Appointed Special Advocates: Volunteers needed to conduct interviews to help find foster homes for abused and neglected children; strong verbal and written skills needed.

Earn It Keep It Save It Coalition: Volunteers needed to provide free tax preparation help through April 15. Training is provided.

Nevada Policy Research Institute: Volunteers needed for administrative duties for various research and education programs as well as help with ongoing monthly events.

Safe Nest: Volunteers needed as shelter advocates, protection order assistants and special projects/outreach team members.

Salud En Accion: Volunteers needed to distribute program information throughout the Hispanic community through health fairs, community events and one-on-one contact.

Southern Nevada Health District: Volunteers needed to provide basic information and assistance with problem resolution paperwork and directions.

Spread the Word Nevada, Kids to Kids: Books and buddies reading mentors needed to partner with children at various schools to improve their reading and language skills. Training is provided.
