Big Brothers Big Sisters, Aug. 11 and 12: Participants needed for Bowl for Kids' Sake.

Blind Center of Nevada: Ceramics instructors needed for two to three hours per week

The Bridge at Paradise Valley: Volunteers needed to work with seniors by playing cards, working on crafts or taking part in other activities.

Court Appointed Special Advocate Program: Child advocates needed to help children who are in Family Court as a result of abuse or neglect; strong verbal and written skills needed.

Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary: Volunteers needed to feed, water and groom cats.

Liberace Foundation and Museum: Greeters needed to welcome visitors and help those with special needs.

Sierra Health Services: Volunteers needed to assist the front desk greeting clients, answering phones and performing other office duties.

Valley Hospital Medical Center: Communications specialist needed to create and revise internal and external newsletters, fliers and publications from home or the hospital.

Vegas PBS: Volunteers needed to answer phones during its pledge drive Aug. 3-12; volunteers needed during taping of "Antiques Roadshow" Aug. 17 and 18.
