Clark County Parks and Recreation: Park ambassadors needed to help visitors and assist with promotion of special events at Desert Breeze Park, Sunset Park and the Silver Bowl Sports Complex.

Earn It Keep It Save It Coalition: Volunteers needed to provide free tax preparation help through April 15. Training is provided.

Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions: Caregivers needed for one- to two-hour shifts weekdays and for as long as four-hour shifts on weekends.

Spread the Word Nevada, Kids to Kids: Books and buddies reading mentors needed to partner with children at various schools to improve their reading and language skills. Training is provided.

State Health Insurance Assistance Program: Volunteers needed to assist Medicare beneficiaries with their questions and problems. Training is provided.

Summit View Youth Correctional Center: Mentors and assistants needed for drama, art, vocational training, street readiness, resume writing and interviewing classes on evenings and weekends.

Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center/Sunrise Children's Hospital: Volunteers needed for information desk and book cart service to patient rooms.
