Here are a few things in pop culture that caught our eye last week.

■ A Las Vegas assemblywoman wants fast food restaurants to post the calorie counts of items they sell. Meanwhile, anti-gaming advocates lobby for a bill requiring casinos to post how much that dollar you’re putting into a slot machine would have made if you had invested it in a CD instead.

■ The Transportation Security Administration proposes allowing airline passengers to again carry pocket knives onto planes. But your kid’s juice pouch will remain a potentially devastating weapon of mass destruction.

■ Playboy will launch a Hebrew-language edition. Oy vey! (Oh, right, like you weren’t thinking the same thing.)
