Here are a few things in news, sports, entertainment and pop culture that we've been talking about lately

■ The Las Vegas Hilton will be renamed LVH-Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. Until you get to the "hotel and casino" part, it sounds like the bacterium for some caught-only-in-Las Vegas STD.

■ A Reno auction features both an original copy of the first Nevada Black Book and a signed, pre-Mickey Mouse drawing by Walt Disney. Little-known fact: Donald Duck's aversion to wearing pants actually landed him in the Black Book.

■ Occupy Las Vegas protesters target valley malls on Black Friday. Inside the belly of the beast is one thing, but inside a shopping mall on Black Friday is just crazy.
