Here are a few things in news, sports, entertainment and pop culture that we've been talking about lately.

n Las Vegans smart from The Daily Beast's dubbing of Las Vegas as America's dumbest city. Oh yeah? Well, you're rubber and we're ... damn.

n The Las Vegas Locomotives will defend their title in the United Football League championship game in Omaha Nov. 27. Be honest: If we were making this up, would any of you even know?
