Here are a few things in news, sports, entertainment and pop culture that we've been talking about lately.

■ A new book argues that tombs found in Jerusalem can be traced back to Jesus or his followers. Another book with another shocking claim about Jesus, another reminder that Easter must be coming.

■ Clark County School District Superintendent Dwight Jones says that unless a contract is reached with the teacher's union, teacher layoffs are "getting close." Real-life arithmetic can really suck.

■ Jaleel White, best known as Steve Urkel in "Family Matters," will be on the latest edition of "Dancing with the Stars." "Dancing with the Stars": Devaluing the word "star" since 2005.

■ Angelina Jolie's right leg u25B6 becomes an Internet sensation. Lord, woman, if you need a chiropractor, just go and find a chiropractor.
