Win cash by sharing your Christmas story

There's still time to enter the Review-Journal's Christmas story contest.

In the spirit of age-old tradition, we're asking readers to compose their own fictional -- note, that's fictional -- Christmas stories and share them with others. The stories, limited to 500 words or less, will be judged on originality (this is a biggie; all stories will be checked for plagiarism), creativity and holiday spirit. Prizes will be awarded in the categories of adults 18 and older ($75), youths 12 through 17 ($75) and children through age 11 ($50). The winning stories will be published in the Review-Journal and on the paper's Web site on Christmas Day.

Send entries to Christmas Stories, in care of Heidi Knapp Rinella, P.O. Box 70, Las Vegas, NV 89125-0070, fax them to her at 383-4676 or e-mail them to hrinella@reviewjournal.com, with Christmas Stories in the subject line. Include your name, age and a daytime phone number. Stories must be received by Friday.
