Police: No passengers aboard school bus that hit business
A school bus driver was alert and talking to rescuers after hitting a wall at a Las Vegas business on Thursday morning, authorities said.
Clark County Fire Department spokeswoman Stacey Welling said there were no passengers aboard when the school bus hit another vehicle about 9:15 a.m. on Tropicana Avenue, near Cameron Street. She said the bus then struck a wall at a restaurant.
Welling said some fencing fell on top of the bus and rescuers had to pull the female driver out.
She was taken to University Medical Center.
