Bicyclist dies after collision with car
A bicyclist died Tuesday after being struck by a vehicle in the central valley Monday afternoon.
Brandon Ochrach, 21, of California was traveling on Jones Boulevard near the intersection with U.S. Highway 95 when he crossed the median and was struck by a 2003 Saturn in the inside travel lane. He was taken to University Medical Center, where he died at 1:12 p.m. on Tuesday.
The 18-year-old driver of the Saturn, whose identity has not been released, was not injured.
