Body found under construction equipment in Laughlin identified
The man who was found dead underneath construction equipment on July 31 in Laughlin was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office on Thursday.
John Yates, 44, of Laughlin was found by officers at 401 Civic Way in Laughlin, about 100 miles southeast of Las Vegas, police said.
The cause of death was still pending on Thursday, the coroner said.
Police said that they did not know how the man ended up under the unspecified “large” equipment.
