STREET FOOD THROWDOWN SET FOR SUNDAY
The Street Food Throwdown 6: Pulled Pork-O-Rama is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the future site of Slidin' Thru's southwest Las Vegas restaurant, 5165 S. Fort Apache Road.
Food trucks Slidin' Thru, Haulin' Balls, Curbside Cafe, Rusty Pickle and Ben's BBQ & Smokehouse are set to attend to determine who makes the best pulled pork. Grouchy John's Coffee plans to serve beverages. Music will be provided by DJ Chunk.

SILVERTON ANNOUNCES BEVERAGE, DINING SPECIALS
The Mermaid Lounge at the Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond Road, plans to offer $10 all-you-can-drink Black and Tans, and guests can pour their own pints of Guinness and Smithwicks on Silverton's Tap Table from 10 p.m. to close.
Mi Casa Grill Cantina, Sundance Grill, Seasons Buffet and the Twin Creeks Steakhouse plan to offer Silverton Rewards Club members half off their food and beverage purchase when they pay with their points through March 31 (excludes Senior Monday $5 buffet).
Mi Casa Grill Cantina also is offering its Coronita Margarita (a margarita with two Coronitas upside down funneling into the drink) for $15 for a limited time. Guests keep the glass.
For a limited time, the Eat Your Heart Out All Day Dining Pass is available for $30 and $50 for Sundance Grill, Seasons Buffet, Mi Casa Grill Cantina and Twin Creeks Steakhouse. The pass can be purchased from the Silverton Rewards Club and must be used on the date purchased.
The Party Pit is planned from 6 p.m. to close Thursday through Saturday at Shady Grove Lounge, with food and drink specials such as $10 Pour Your Own Pint, $9 wings, nachos or pepperoni pizza, $5 double dog, $8.95 cheeseburger or sliders and $7 cheese pizza.
Mi Casa Grill Cantina plans to host happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. daily with $2 beer specials, half off tequila shots (excludes Super Premium Tequila and above) and $3 Mi Casa margaritas.
The Sundance Grill plans to offer late-night specials from midnight to 5 a.m., including biscuits and gravy for 99 cents, all-you-can-eat pancakes for $4.99 and the Wild Card Special, two farm fresh eggs, two bacon or sausage, hash browns, toast and jelly for $3.99.
Twin Creeks Steakhouse plans to offer happy hour from 8 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays with half off items from the tapas menu.
WAHOO'S FISH TACO OPENS SECOND LAS VEGAS LOCATION
Wahoo's Fish Taco has opened its second location in the Las Vegas Valley at 1000 S. Rampart Blvd.
Menu items include the Maui Bowl, Banzai Burrito and original fish taco. Charbroiled fish, steak and chicken tacos also are available. The restaurant features a Mexican/Brazilian/Asian-inspired menu with a Hawaiian North Shore vibe.
Wahoo's Fish Taco also has a location at 7020 W. Sunset Road.

YOSCREAM, LEONÉ CAFÉ ANNOUNCE PROMOTIONS AT TIVOLI VILLAGE
YoScream and Leoné Café, both at Tivoli Village, 400 S. Rampart Blvd., are offering dining promotions in March.
YoScream plans to serve all-you-can-eat frozen yogurt from 1 to 9 p.m. Sundays for $3 per person. From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, self-serve frozen yogurt is buy one, get one free. From noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, children 12 or younger can get a small ice cream or frozen yogurt for 99 cents.
At Leoné Café, Coffee for a Cure is planned from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and March 27. For every large coffee or espresso beverage purchase, Leoné Café will give 25 cents to the University of California, San Diego Nevada Cancer Institute. On weekdays after 2:30 p.m., get a free medium coffee with a pastry purchase.
KABUKI PLANS FUNDRAISER FOR 10-YEAR-OLD WITH RARE CANCER
Kabuki Japanese restaurants at Tivoli Village, 400 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 190, and Town Square Las Vegas, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd. South, No. 147, plan to donate $4 to the Strength for Jaxon fundraising campaign for every item sold from the kids menu March 28 through April 3.
The fundraiser will help pay for medical treatment for 10-year-old Jaxon Piro of Summerlin, who is undergoing experimental treatments for anaplastic medulloblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that attacks the brain, at the Burzynski Clinic in Houston. The treatments are not covered by insurance.
GET FREE PIE AT JOE'S SEAFOOD, PRIME STEAK & STONE CRAB
Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab inside the Forum Shops at Caesars, 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to offer free slices of Joe's pie with the purchase of an entree to anyone named Joe (or Joanna, Josephine, etc.) in honor of National Joe Day on March 27.
Photo ID is required. Pie choices are key lime, Havana Dream, chocolate fudge and peanut butter.

CARLOS'N CHARLIE'S, CENTER CUT STEAKHOUSE COMING TO FLAMINGO
Carlos'n Charlie's is set to open a restaurant and bar inside the Flamingo Las Vegas, 3555 Las Vegas Blvd. South, in April.
The restaurant will be adjacent to the Race & Sports Book and will have more than 13,000 square feet.
Center Cut Steakhouse is also scheduled to open in April with a large bar and lounge area in the former Burger Joint space.

EL SEGUNDO SOL PLANS COOKING CLASS, LOCO HOUR SPECIALS
El Segundo Sol at Fashion Show mall, 3200 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to host a Cooking Fiesta from 10 a.m. to noon March 31 with executive chef Terry Lynch.
The menu is set to feature chips and roasted tomato-serrano salsa, Oaxacan chicken in mole negro and quesadilla with mushroom, sweet corn and hiutlacoche. Dessert will be chocolate-coconut flan, and the cocktails will be signature red sangria and cucumber-mint margarita.

Beginning at 11 a.m. April 6, El Segundo Sol plans to offer Loco hour dining and drink specials all day, including loaded nachos, chips and three salsas and street tacos. The signature margarita will be $5 and sangria $4. Shots of tequila will be $3 each.
FLEMING'S PLANS EASTER BRUNCH
Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, 8721 W. Charleston Blvd., plans to offer an Easter brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 8.
The three-course menu will be $34.95. A celebration cocktail, Blood Orange Fizz, will be available for $6.95.
The appetizer will be The Wedge salad or fresh fruit medley, followed by entree choices of filet mignon Benedict, New Orleans-style French toast, Fleming's frittata or steakhouse filet mignon Cobb. Entrees will be served with potatoes O'Brien and sautéed green beans. Dessert choices will be white chocolate bread pudding, creme brulee or walnut turtle pie.
A children's brunch menu will be available for $16.95 for those 12 or younger.

Marie Callender's plans to offer whole take-home Easter meals starting at $99.99.
The Ham Feast features a honey-glazed, bone-in, spiral-cut ham with sides and a whole pie. The Brunch Feast has eight freshly baked muffins, two quiches, seasonal fruit and fresh whipped cream. Other Feast options include Turkey, Ultimate Whole Turkey, Ham and Turkey Combo and Ultimate Turkey and Ham Feast. Trimmings vary depending on the Feast ordered.

Ethel M is offering its 2012 Ethel M Chocolates Easter Collection, packaged in egg-shaped boxes and keepsake tins.

ARTFULLY SWEET FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT SOUTHERN NEVADA CHILDREN FIRST
The third annual Artfully Sweet fundraiser to benefit Southern Nevada Children First is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at The Ridges, 11277 Marble Ridge Drive in Summerlin.
Artisan treats, live performances and a silent auction are planned. SNCF is a nonprofit organization that provides long-term transitional housing and life skills training to homeless pregnant and parenting teens and young adults ages 16 to 22.

TIVOLI VILLAGE TO HOST WINE AWAY WEDNESDAYS EVENT
Tivoli Village plans to host a Wine Away Wednesdays event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Land Rover, 400 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 150.
The event is being held in conjunction with Las Vegas Woman Magazine and is set to feature wine tasting, with two complimentary glasses of wine per guest, light passed appetizers and offerings from local businesses.

SUNSET STATION TO HOST FIVE-COURSE WINE DINNERS
Sunset Station, 1301 W. Sunset Road, plans to host a five-course wine dinner today at 6 p.m. at Pasta Cucina.
The meal will feature the wines of Antinori, and course selections include herb lamb chops and braised veal. The cost is $65 per person.
Another wine dinner featuring the wines of Ferrari-Carano is planned for 6 p.m. March 27 at Sonoma Cellar Steakhouse. Course selections include osso bucco and wild boar chops. The cost is $85 per person.

DOWNTOWN CARES PUB CRAWL SET FOR thursday
The El Cortez, 600 E. Fremont St., will be one of the first stops for the first Downtown Cares Pub Crawl, which is scheduled from 7 to 11 p.m. Thursday.
Participants will visit pubs around downtown, including El Cortez, Lady Silvia, Hennessey's and Mickie Finnz, where they will enjoy drink specials.
The pub crawl will conclude at the Jackie Gaughan Plaza at El Cortez with a raffle drawing, food truck rally and concert.
Twenty percent of sales from participating bars will be donated to Downtown Cares, a new organization dedicated to continuing the revitalization efforts in downtown Las Vegas.

WINE WALK SET AT LAKE LAS VEGAS TO BENEFIT NEW VISTA COMMUNITY
The Village Lake Las Vegas, 30 Strada Di Villaggio, plans to host a Toast to the Town wine walk at 7 p.m. March 31 to benefit nonprofit group New Vista Community.
Southern Wine & Spirits and Lee's Discount Liquor plan to present a special evening of wines, cocktails, beers and cuisine sampling by restaurant partners. Live music and a silent auction also are planned.
A VIP Mingle with the Chefs is set to begin at 6 p.m., and tickets are $75 in advance only. General admission tickets for the wine walk are $50 in advance or $60 at the door.
