KABUKI SUSHI 101 TO LAUNCH JAN. 15
Kabuki Japanese Restaurant at Tivoli Village, 400 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 190, plans to launch Kabuki Sushi 101 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 15. The class is set to be hosted by Yuji Matsumoto, California Sushi Academy founder and Kabuki's master sake sommelier. Attendees will have a chance to make four of Kabuki's most popular sushi rolls. Besides a hands-on tutorial from Matsumoto, the class will include sake pairing and a Sushi Swag Bag full of items needed to make sushi at home.

RESTAURANT WEEKS TO BENEFIT THREE SQUARE IN 2013
Las Vegas Restaurant Weeks are planned for March 8-15 and Aug. 23-30 to benefit Three Square food bank. In 2012, Las Vegas Restaurant Week raised more than $610,000 for Three Square, helping to provide more than 1.8 million meals to those in need in Southern Nevada.
To take part in Restaurant Week, diners simply visit a participating restaurant during the specified dates and enjoy a multi-course, prix fixe menu created especially for the fundraiser. Price points will range from $20.13 to $50.13, with a fixed portion of the proceeds going to the food bank. Big Dog's Brewery plans to host Winterfest from 2 to 9 p.m. Jan. 26 at The Draft House, 4543 N. Rancho Drive. More than 50 beers will be featured, and food, live music and raffles are also planned.

D GRILL OPENS DOWNTOWN
The D Las Vegas, 301 Fremont St., has opened the D Grill, which serves contemporary American fare 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The restaurant occupies the space formerly housing the Courtyard Grill on the second floor. The menu has 75 breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert items.
Breakfast is served from midnight to 4 p.m. daily, lunch is served 24 hours daily, and dinner is served from 4 to 11 p.m. daily.
AGAVE'S BREAKFAST BURRITOS LIVE ON AFTER RESTAURANT'S CLOSING
Agave has closed its location on West Charleston Boulevard, but the Mexican eatery's breakfast burritos and taco cart will still be available from the parking lot of Vintner Grill, 10100 W. Charleston Blvd. The cart is scheduled to be there from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays offering $5 breakfast burritos with eggs, potatoes, specialty meats, cheeses and homemade salsas.
