MARIE CALLENDER’S TO CELEBRATE 65 YEARS WITH SPECIAL CAKE PIE

Marie Callender’s Restaurant & Bakery is celebrating 65 years with a special Celebration Cake Pie being offered for $6.50, plus tin, through June 30.

The dessert is made with vanilla ice cream and layers of white cake and frosting in a flaky crust, finished with fresh whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles.

Marie Callender’s has also introduced a new Strawberry Heaven Menu, featuring fresh strawberries in a selection of breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert items, including strawberry and banana stuffed French toast, pecan-crusted chicken with strawberry-habanero jam and strawberry pie. Las Vegas Restaurant Week is scheduled for Aug. 23-30 to raise funds for Three Square food bank. Restaurants across the valley plan to feature prix fixe, three-course menus for $20.13 to $50.13, with a portion of the proceeds from each meal sold going to the food bank.
