COSMOPOLITAN TO HOST LUCKYRICE CULINARY FESTIVAL IN OCTOBER

The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to host LUCKYRICE, a culinary festival focused on Asian cultures, from Oct. 4-6.

Festival highlights include an opening ceremony set for Oct. 4 at the Boulevard Pool and featuring an assortment of teas and entertainment, including Lion Dances, Koto and Pipa musical performances. The ceremony will be free to hotel guests and festival ticket holders.

Cocktails & Canvas, a live collaborative art event, is planned for 5 p.m. Oct. 5 at the JW Marriott, 221 N. Rampart Blvd. The event will benefit New Vista Community, a nonprofit that provides the intellectually challenged of all ages with opportunities and support.

Art is set to be created by 24 artists during the event, with all pieces being collaborative and worked on by multiple artists. MTO CAFE TO OPEN IN DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS

MTO Cafe is scheduled to open this month at 500 S. Main St. MTO, which stands for Made To Order, will serve breakfast and lunch daily and a brunch menu on weekends. It is the first restaurant from Las Vegas-based Shift Solutions.
