Resident wants HOA to do something
about rat problem

I have lived on Calico Flower Avenue (near Buffalo and Vegas) for 12 years in Valencia-Pueblo.

I never saw a rat in our neighborhood until three days ago. There was a big rat on my wall, which backs up to Vegas Drive.

I live next to the water filtration plant (really clean) and called them to check if they had any rats. The next day, they were out there checking and saw no signs of rats. But they called me and told me they heard something squirming in the bushes that are on Vegas Drive and back up to my wall. This is HOA property and responsibility.

I spoke to Laura at the HOA, and she said there are rats all over Summerlin.

I am the delegate for Valencia. We don't want rats, and if the rats are nesting on HOA property, we want something done.

I pay $47 a month dues and have paid over $6,000 and never asked for one thing. I don't want rats.
