Fire damages southwest valley home
The cause of house fire Monday afternoon in the southwest valley is under investigation, the Clark County Fire Department said.
Firefighters responded to a high-level structural fire about 3:50 p.m., at 3433 S. Myrtle Ave., near South Decatur Boulevard and West Spring Mountain Road, the department said in a news release.
Upon arrival, personnel reported a single-story, single-family home with smoke and flames coming from the home. Crews attacked and knocked down the fire by about 4:10 p.m., the release said.
No individuals were displaced as a result of the incident.
No injuries were reported, and damages have not been estimated, the statement said.
