Garage fire erupts in southeast valley.

The Clark County Fire Department responded to a garage fire Monday evening in the southeast valley.

Just before 5 p.m., the garage of a single-family home at the 6200 block of Curlew Drive, near Tropicana Avenue and Jimmy Durante Boulevard, caught fire and spread to the attic. All occupants of the home made it out safely and firefighters extinguished the blaze, the fire department said.

No injuries were reported from the fire. The cause has not yet been determined as the fire department was still on scene investigating.
