Las Vegas man dies in two-vehicle crash
A 43-year-old man died Sunday morning in a head-on crash between a sport utility vehicle and a delivery truck at Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, Las Vegas police said.
The identity of the deceased Las Vegas man was not released.
Police said the man driving a 1999 Mitsubishi delivery truck was stopped in a left turn lane on eastbound Flamingo at Koval about 3:30 a.m. when it was struck by a 2009 GMC Yukon Denali, traveling west on Flamingo.
The driver of the delivery truck died at the scene.
The Denali's driver, Hasim Sharif Rahman, 20, and his three passengers were hospitalized with minor to serious injuries.
The incident marked the 51st traffic fatality under the jurisdiction of Las Vegas police this year.
