A 21-year-old man is in critical condition after losing control of his moped and being hit by a sport utility vehicle Saturday evening.

Las Vegas resident Terrence Harris was driving a 2009 Diamo Velocity Moped northbound on Martin Luther King Boulevard near Symphony Park Avenue when he was thrown off his vehicle and into the path of a 1999 Ford Explorer driven by Davinci Dupree.
