A 21-year-old Henderson man was critically injured Saturday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a City of Henderson pickup, authorities said.

Witnesses told investigators the motorcyclist, who was riding a Suzuki GSXR 600, was traveling at a high-rate of speed when it struck the Ford F-150 at Whitney Ranch Drive and Plain Sight Avenue about 4 p.m.

The motorcyclist, who's name was not released, was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
