A man who broke into a southeast valley apartment Saturday afternoon was fatally shot by the apartment’s resident, Las Vegas police said. Lt. Ray Steiber said four men invaded a home about 2 p.m. at Las Palomas Apartments, 4040 Boulder Highway near Desert Inn Road.
