ROAD ALERT: Durango closure planned for Beltway work

Durango Drive will be closed between Centennial Parkway and Deer Springs Way overnight Tuesday, according to a Clark County announcement.

Bridge construction to carry the eastbound 215 Beltway over Durango is causing the closure, which will be from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Traffic on Durango will be rerouted to Grand Montecito Parkway and traffic on the Beltway will not be affected, the county said.

Similar closures are expected throughout construction and are intentionally scheduled to avoid rush-hour traffic.
