ROAD ALERT: Strip intersection lane closures planned
A Clark County Water Reclamation District utility hole rehabilitation project will create lane restrictions at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road early today.
Work will be conducted from 2 to 10 a.m., district officials said. Motorists traveling in that area should expect delays, especially during the morning rush hour.
The inside northbound left-turn lane onto Flamingo will be closed, while the outside left-turn lane will remain open. The far right southbound through lane will be closed, but the right-turn lane onto Flamingo will remain open.
On Flamingo, the two left westbound through lanes will be closed with traffic reduced to one through lane. Left turns from Flamingo onto southbound Las Vegas Boulevard will be permitted. The outside eastbound left-turn lane to northbound Las Vegas Boulevard will be closed while the inside left-turn lane will remain open. The outside eastbound through lane will be closed, with the two right through lanes remaining open.
