ROAD ALERT: U.S. 95 lane closures planned
Motorists traveling south on U.S. Highway 95 between Eastern Avenue and Charleston Boulevard will experience nighttime lane closures beginning Sunday and running through the morning of Dec. 14 to repair a damaged barrier rail, the Nevada Department of Transportation announced.
The right lane and right shoulder will be closed at 9 p.m. Sunday, followed by an 11 p.m. closure of the middle lane, leaving just one open lane for traffic.
Nightly closures are expected to continue from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., ending on Friday morning.
Additionally, the Charleston offramp will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday morning. Motorists needing to exit U.S. 95 in the area are advised to use the Eastern or Boulder Highway offramps.
