Structure fire leaves heavy smoke over northwest neighborhood

Las Vegas firefighters extinguished a structure fire at Cheyenne Avenue and Decatur Boulevard early this morning.

The fire devoured a trailer in the backyard of a home on Thom Boulevard at about 6:30 a.m.. The fire quickly spread into the house and also burned a second trailer adjacent to the first. Heavy smoke continues to linger over the neighborhood.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
