Two Henderson accident victims named
Two people killed Saturday night in an accident in Henderson were identified on Monday.
James Zell, 68, and Katherine Zell, 65, were killed about 11:20 p.m. near Sunset and Eastgate roads when their 1995 Ford Windstar collided with a 2009 Hyundai Sonata driven by 76-year-old Elfriede Cook.
The Windstar then rolled and collided with a 2006 Hyundai Elantra driven by 18-year-old Mary Brooks.
Henderson police said James Zell either failed to yield to oncoming traffic on Sunset after stopping at the intersection, or he simply failed to stop at the intersection completely.
Katherine and James Zell died at the scene. The other people involved in the accident were expected to be OK.
